What conditions do naturopathic doctors treat?

As general practitioners, naturopathic doctors treat a wide range of disease. Patients may see a naturopathic doctor as their primary care provider, or they may see a naturopathic doctor as a part of a larger treatment team. We are trained to treat most conditions including acute, chronic, and subclinical conditions. We are also trained to work with other healthcare practitioners to support you when you require conventional medical care. Occaisionally I feel that a patient will be better served by a specialist, in that case I may refer you to a naturopathic specialist, physiotherapist, massage therapist, chiropractor, medical doctor, counsellor, herbalist, yoga therapist or acupuncturist. You may also be asked to see your medical doctor for blood tests or imaging tests, or to assist in diagnosis.

Conditions and concerns that I often treat include: digestive concerns, infertility, headaches, mood disorders, hypertension, fatigue, chronic pain, lowered immunity, allergies, early aging, skin conditions, hormonal imbalances, liver disease, diabetes, difficulty concentrating, asthma, HIV/AIDS, skin conditions, autoimmune disorders, eczema, arthritis, and insomnia. If you have a condition not listed above, please call or email for a free 15 minute consultation. I also welcome patients without immediate health concerns who are looking for guidance regarding healthy lifestyle and preventative medicine.
